How L2L Makes a Difference
Since 1968, the mission of L2L has been to develop Christian leaders. From a group of eight boys in that first year to more than 20,000 today, our mission has remained the same.
L2L is the oldest and largest leadership training program used by the churches of Christ. It is a tool churches can use to help prepare youth and adults for service in God's Kingdom and develop overall leadership potential.
Our goal is to provide effective, year-round leadership training tools that can be adapted to individual needs and help local congregations instill the Word of God into youth and adults to ensure they stand firm in the faith.
"Lads to Leaders is a great leadership training program for youth, but it is much more. It results in youngsters and their parents working together on spiritual projects. It teaches even very young children to get on their feet before audiences."
"Seeing the amazing skills of the youth at the Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes convention is one of the highlights of my year! I am always amazed to hear the youth speaking with such poise and Bible knowledge. The worship service just leaves me speechless."
Within the sound congregations of the Lord's Church, Lads2Leaders is one of the greatest unifying tools.
"Wherever I travel, I like to tell churches about the wonderful programs of Lads to Leaders and how they make such a difference in the lives of the children they serve. For many years, I have seen the benefits of Lads to Leaders to those who particpate, having served both as a coach and a judge."
